Updates on Official Fees: Finland and Belarus

We would like to share with you some recent updates to official fees concerning the services offered by iPify.

Finland

EP Validations – IP Maintenance

The Finnish Patent Office has introduced the following changes as of 2026-01-01.

Here are the new official fees for European patent validation:

Concerning the patent annuities, the new official fees are as follows:

Concerning the SPC, the new official fees are as follows:

Concerning the utility model renewals, the new official fees are as follows:

Additionally, regardless of whether the deadline falls after the fee increase, if payment is made before the effective date of the increase, the current (pre-increase) official fee will apply.

Belarus

IP Maintenance

The Tax Code of the Republic of Belarus prescribes all official fees in the so called “basic units”. From 2026-01-01 one basic unit will change from 42.00 BYN to 45.00 BYN, as a result of which the amount of fees will also change.
